Summer of 2013 in Reflection
A great and busy summer that flew by. We started the summer by going to visit my parents in Palos Verdes (and squeezed in a stop at Lego land). When we got back Cecily started summer school at Convent (in late June) and Piper at Serra (starting in July). Cecily went to Camp Galileo in July and had a great time- one week was amusement parks and the other one about Space Exploration. We had our Biagini/Hagel family vacation at Lake Almanor for the second time and spent the week sunbaking, waterskiing, scavenger hunting (scavenging?), and eating eating eating. I also snuck off every so often to binge watch Downton Abbey on my iPad. (see earlier blog post for more details on that trip) In between these adventures we spent time in Petaluma (helping the Newmans move from Sonoma to Pet!), swimming at Kelly's pool, endlessly listening to the Bring it On musical soundtrack, and being lazy when our schedules allowed it. A personal obsession of mine lately has been DNA-23andme, and I am set to have the whole family's DNA genotyped! Cecily starts school next week and Piper in early September. Summer is coming to a close. Welcome fall..............
