Here I thought I would pretty much skip over the "morning" sickness. I have been doing pretty well. But I have been getting very queasy now at night and sometimes when I first get up in the morning. My vitamen makes me gag. And today the sick feeling would not go away. So I sit trying to do all this work in my client's conference room and drink Ginger tea (yuk, supposed to help but it is not tasty), and suck on Preggie Pops Drops (now these are yummy).
My clothing is getting very tight. I think I have gained about 5 pounds (from the last several weeks when I have been eating up a storm) and many of my pants don't fit. I am not ready to get maternity clothes yet (determined to hold out until second trimester) but my available wardrobe is dwindling.
And then there is work. Smack in the middle of busy season working 10-12 hours a day. Pretty challenging with the lack of energy thing. And the fact that I am not telling people yet makes it hard as well.

9th week
I am now at the end of my 9th week. I am gettting fatter by the day. Some days I wake up and I feel very bloated. Other days my belly is flatter. Some days I have a ravenous appetite. Others I feel like only eating fruit. I am moody and my tummy feels sore like I've been punched or I've done alot of sit-ups (I haven't). I am really tired most of the time but have alot of work to do! Wish I could curl up under the covers but I must keep going. Especially since I can't explain why I am so foggy brained and energy-less!

Valentine's Day- 8 weeks pregnant
I am very anxious to be able to start telling people, but my appointment with my Dr. is not until 3/7. Three weeks away!
I went to a pre-natal class last Thursday that Kaiser makes you go to. Filled out alot of paperwork and listened to information on nutrition and genetic testing and when I go to all my appointments.
My nausea has not been that bad. I just eat a much smaller variety of foods now (focus on bread/crackers/fruit) I really have not been able to eat many vegetables which is not good. And meat isnt sounding so good either. Especially pork chops! yuk!
Greg and I are very excited and happy, I guess we will just have to patiently wait to spread the news.

The Journey Begins
The journey begins on January 19th when two pregnancy tests with "+" sign tell me that I am pregnant! Very scary and exciting.
Now I am approximately 7 weeks pregnant and quite anxious to be able to start spreading the news. Greg and I have decided to wait to tell people until we hear the heartbeat, so we have to wait until the first doctor's appointment.
Until then............
